Nirmala College of pharmacy (NCPA), Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh is a self financing institution established and administered by the Society of Catechist Sisters of St. Ann, Hyderabad, under article 30(1) according to the constitution of India. The management was found in 1918 in Nalgonda Dist., Andhra Pradesh. by Rev. Fr. Silvia Pasquali, PIME. The objectives of the Management are the culmination of the vision of its founder to eradicate the poverty, Social injustice, oppression and ignorance among rural masses, which is the mission of Catechist Sisters of St. Ann. The society consists of a large group of members with outstanding social status. The society was established with a great vision to provide quality education on par with global standards to the students from all over India and in particular those from local and rural areas. Society is maintaining high standards so as to make them technologically competent and ethically strong individuals who shall be able to improve the quality of life and economy of our country.

Nirmala College of Pharmacy (NCPA) started in the year 2004 by the Congregation (Society) of Catechist Sisters of ST. ANN; Hyderabad and is offering Diploma, B. Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, Pharm D (PB), M. Pharmacy four specializations Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacology, Regulatory Affairs and Ph.D (Approved research center by ANU). The institution is accredited by NAAC (A grade), received autonomous status and approved under UGC 2f & 12b. The institution is also approved by Pharmacy council of India, affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur and secured All India NIRF-2023 83rd Rank in Pharmacy category. The Institution received several government grants for conducting conference and research activity including DST, ICMR and AICTE.

The institution has its own spectacular buildings with spacious well–equipped sophisticated laboratories, classrooms and other facilities as per the norms and standards of Pharmacy council of India (PCI). NCPA has been successful in providing and maintaining high quality in Teaching and Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
